A beautiful trail that winds its way from the deserts near Johnson Valley into a lush Joshua Tree forest.  This trail can be done in any high-clearance 4x4 vehicle. A perfect trail for all levels of off-roaders. You will encounter everything from deep sand to creek crossings with some light rock crawling. There are some cool old abandoned buildings and structures within the canyon that make perfect spots to have lunch.  We will trek back through to camp via the 2N02 in time for happy hour.  

Bring lots of water, snacks, lunch and sunscreen.  Please arrive at staging area #2 with a full tank of gas.
